7 yr old boy

Hey
Am concerned about mr7. The last week he has been acting out at school being rough and hurting kids becoming really angry and negative thinking. Tells me hes stupid and naughty and that he wants to die and has the worst life ever. I dont know where it has come from and how to help him . I'm a teacher and he attends the school I work at so I find that's extra pressure for me as well. I feel like ive failed as a mum and have got him speaking with the guidance officer at school to see if that helps. Any urge suggestions is this normal or a phase

Has anything changed in his life or is there some issue at school casuing this? Is it possible other children are not being kind to him and he is lashing out?

No big changes that I'm aware of he is in q composite class at school so the older boys seems to be influencing him a bit. I read that at 7 boys get testosterone surges so I'm wondering If that's it. Hes unhappy at school at the moment but mostly cause he has been in trouble for lashing out and he feels like he gets yelled at all the time even when he tries to do the right thing.

Can you spend so time one on one with him doing something he likes plus favourite meal out? A full day on the weekend if possible . You may find he opens up when all is relaxed
