Fussy eater?

Hi everyone,

I am a long time lurker and first time poster. I thought I'd share something I have found out that might help someone out there.

My two are particularly bad at trying new foods and my DS would rather starve than try anything other than his beloved jam sandwich. We had tried many things but we recently experienced a breakthrough and it was all down to biscuits!

The girls at work have recently subscribed to a biscuit subscription which sends biscuits to our office when we want from all over the world. As part of the package is a scorecard which I believe is supposed to be a bit of fun as you rate the biscuits on a "scoffability" and "dunkability" scale. However I brought some home from work and thought that I would try them with my two. To my surprise they tried them and I think it was all down to the scorecard!! This brought something novel to their afternoon snack and since my DS has tried fish, lemon, almond flavoured things that he definitely wouldn't have tried before!!

I also think that even if your kids aren't fussy eaters but you want a fun way for them to experience new tastes or just get them to stop and think about the food they are eating then I think this is a great way.

Hope this helps someone. Grin
