Young kids do tend to get bruises with them running about places, the school may ask what the bruise But chances are they’ll just think he’s fallen or banged into something

If his body was full of bruises and bruises are a regular occurance then they may take action but 1 bruise does not mean beaten child

I have bruises I don't know where they came from. Unless the school has other concerns they're unlikely to worry about it.

What BenandHollysmum and Witchend said.

Same here Witchend. Plus 5 yo kids often can't remember what they had for lunch, let alone where a bruise came from (when they were busy having fun). Unless it's massive I think you'll be fine.

YEah, if your kids been playing outside with toys or has a shute or swing it’s been that..
My kid was covered in bruises most she got in school everyday she brought home a first aid letter because she bumped herself, school knew what she was like she was boisterous always running and fairly active. They didn’t bother other people asked though saying about her shins and how they got pulled up by schools because of their kids bruises I’d say because she got them in school they don’t pull me up lol

your boy will get tonnes of bruises esp the shin area, most he will likely get in school so don’t worry about it honestly..it’s bruises and cuts on the body that normally wouldn’t get bruises they look out for
