Climbing/eating

I have 2 children. Almost 4 year old boy and 18m girl. My girl is going through a phase at the minute of climbing everything and eating everything. I never really had this was my first. I just don't know what to do.. I have no ornaments or photos anywhere. She climbs on the sofa, up her highchair, nest of tables, tv cabinet (tv on the wall), we take her down each time and tell her no but she's straight back up. It's driving me nuts and it's really exhausting. I just can't see and end to it. Any ideas? When she's in the garden you need to keep an eye on her at all times. She eats the mud, stones etc. I'm knackered.

Hiya, my girly is 17 months (first baby) and does the same! I do find that if I try to say no to her, she tends to just do it more as she enjoys the reaction, so I've started instead pretending to not be phased by it but calmly encouraging her to come and do something else (so not letting her carry on doing it but not drawing attention to it either) The eating thing is hard, but again I tend to try the same sort of approach, as if I panic or start saying no etc, she again thinks it's a game and just clamps her mouth shut! Hope that helps x

Try to distract her with doing other things that will catch her attention. My wife used to that to our kids.
