I’m just looking for some advice my daughter who is 8 literally doesn’t stop talking and fidgeting all day long. She is never happy with one activity whenever we are doing an activity she is already asking what we are doing next. She talks at a higher tone always and has to be heard always. I have spoken to her for years about not interrupting when I am busy speaking with other adults as sometimes it can be very important but she will shout Mum over and over or start talking anyway even if I tell her to hang on for a minute. My mother says she thinks it could be ODD? Does anyone else’s children have this and does it sound familiar? Thanks

My son is like this-He also shouts out random words/sayings and is never quiet.
He will interrupt all the time-especially when we are on the phone! My Husband works from home and spends a lot of time on the phone and as done so for the last 5 years-Son will still go running up to him asking him questions and despite being told to be quiet and go away he just stands there and repeats himself....
My son is 11 and we are going through the long slow process of getting him assessed for ADHD.
Go to see your Doctor with Daughter if you have concerns.
