Hi!
I'm having difficulty engaging my 3;6 year old boy in pretend play. I've tried kitchen role play, dolly/teddy stuff, shopkeepers, firetrucks, train stations and lifts (one of his passions!) he'll happily watch me do it, and copy me a bit but never does it independently and never has any ideas of his own. He does show a few spectrum behaviours, this being one of them, but I think it would help him hugely if I could find a way to help him develop his imagination. Just wondering what weird and wonderful things you lovely mums are doing at home to help your little ones?
