Tall Baby

So, my little girl is one this month and is already at 86cm (2ft 10). I'm 6ft and her dad is 6ft 8 so we always knew she would be tall but she is growing too fast!
They say babies grow out of clothes quickly, but her speed is ridiculous. Canyone recommend somewhere for cheap baby clothes, I'm constantly scouring eBay for bundles bit would love another pace to look!

Asda? Friends/family with older kids?

Just checked: my very tall DS was 85cm at 12 months (DP is 6ft6, I'm a mere 5ft8). What I struggled with was finding anything long enough to cover his very long back , esp long sleeve tops - if they fitted on the arms then there was always a gap at his middle. With a girl I would consider using tunics/dresses with leggings or tights underneath so as they grow, the dress just gets shorter. I would also consider buying a couple of tops in a more expensive brand that is a taller/more athletic fit. The supermarket jersey tops, tend to shrink loads (in length), once you have washed them a couple of times, so can be a false economy. Look for PJs/tops with cuffs, so that you can fold them up.

The good news is that clothes seem to fit better now that he is seven, and of course the growing slows down too, though he appears to be in teen shoes already!
