My first time on here and my first post so here goes ...
I have 2 boys 13 & 15, I'm divorced, my partner lives with me in my house.
Both of my boys are so rude and so disrespectful most of the time and it just gets worse. I don't think they have been spoilt, they see their dad regularly, but seem to have zero respect for me. I work for myself from home, so I am normally there when they get in from school and see them off each morning. They are constantly telling me to shut up, never ever do what I repeatedly ask plus so much more. People say it's just their age but I can't believe all boys are this rude! I have recently broken my foot and not once have they offered any help or shown any interest.
I'm at loggerheads with my partner and seriously re evaluating our relationship as I don't think he is strong enough for me. He hears what goes on but never says anything , he hears them throwing things around and generally kicking off yet pretends that he doesn't.
I feel so sad and lost and Really don't know what to do for the best. I was advised to just stop doing anything for them apart from obviously providing a bed and home !!
Advice and experiences please ?
