I've always been pretty strict about not letting my chldren watch films or play games that they are too young for according to the ratings. My dd has only seen a handful of 12As for example and she's 11. Usually when she has seen one it's because I didn't want her to be left out when her friends were doing something - she went to Pirates because it was a friends birthday treat for example. So I do try to be a bit flexible. The latest thing in her primary school is Bebo. Now I know that you can keep your profile private and all that - but you still have to say you're 13 to join - and I'm really not happy with dd lying about her age. Am I being unfair/unreasonable/old fashioned/over protective?
