Potty training! HELP How will I know when he is ready?!??

Hello,

Ds is 2 years 4 months and he is pulling at his nappy all the time. As soon as he has done a poo he is trying to pull it out.... although this is clearly awareness I think he needs to be telling me before. I feel his speech needs to be better.

How do other mothers know when their LO aid ready?

Is he going somewhere private when he poos? That’s usually a sign that they are aware of the sensation of needing a poo.

Speech delay shouldn’t be a problem, just look up the makaton sign for potty
