12 year old Stealing and Lying

I am coming to the end of my tether. My 12 year old DS is stealing and lying to me. Only minor things like chocolate, a nail varnish for a girl at school etc. Always confesses when pushed on the subject but then does it again the next week. He hasn’t had his phone for months as every time he is about to get it back he does something else. I could quite literally cry. He has had bullying issues at school which now seem better but we have now moved on to this. What can I do bar make him pay for the things he steals, tell him the affect it has on me and the family.

Is she giving things to girls at school to try and endear herself to them OP? Have you tried taking her out, just the two of you, for a meal and having a chat about how she’s feeling right now?
