Constant pooing in the bath

DD is only 15 month old bless her so obv not a behaviour issue! She seems to have taken to pooing in the bath on a regular basis (3 times in the past week). If it's a bit soft (soz if tmi but there you go) it's a nightmare to clean up after. She's always got bath toys in there too so that adds an extra element of fun when it comes to cleaning up. And she of course drinks a fair bit of the bath water so if we haven't noticed it straight away I really worry that she'll have drank some poo water & will get poorly Sad
Anyone else had this issue?! Any tips??

Has she been constipated or hard poos lately? Maybe she has realised it's less painful to poop in the bath. Perhaps just whisk her out if you notice she is straining to try and then pop her on the toilet (not to potty train, just as a convenient way to get rid of the poop)

Or put her in a swim nappy until you are positive the phase has passed.

We had this around 18 mos. It was an awful mess. We had been taking ds out, scrubing the tub, and then getting him back in as he loves the bath, but I got too tired of it and stopped putting him back in after a scrub. He quickly learned to tell us when he needed to get out. At 15 months, though, it’s tricky. I don’t know if they’d have much awareness of what was happening.
