3.5 year old takes about three loo trips per meal

Can’t work out if it’s an avoidance tactic or just because when she eats it sets things in motion. She does about three small poos in one meal. The kind you would do in one setting, but for her it’s over three separate occasions during the meal. She is not a great eater anyway, so nearly every meal is disturbed three times and she wants me to come with her too so trying to help other DC eat becomes difficult and descends things into chaos.

Any thoughts or tips?

Could you sit her on the potty while you cook and give her a book (or CBeebies) so that she sits there for a while?

Another solution maybe to place a potty just out of the dining room but where Yiu will be able to see her and let her go by herself.

If she is pooing a fair bit when she eats, has she got any allergies?
