Bedtime bottle

My dd is 19 months old now and the only way we can get her to go to sleep is with a bottle of milk. So she has bath, book, brush her teeth then we put her to bed with her bottle of milk and she falls asleep after she's drunk it and likes to keep the bottle through the night.

I'm worried about her teeth tho, does anyone else do this?

Am I ok doing this or do we need to take the bottle off her? Have been advised it's fine as it's a comfort thing?

DS is also 19mo and had a bottle before bed but he has the bottle then we clean his teeth. The sugar in cows milk is quite high so I’d be worried about her teeth. Only recently DS has taken to taking a bottle of water to bed with him and he holds on to it before sleep. Not sure why but it’s not hurting him and I take it out the cot once he’s asleep. Could you change her routine to clean her teeth after wards and introduce a toy or book instead? I’m assuming she doesn’t fall asleep without the milk ( doesn’t go to sleep her self ?)
