How many night feeds for a 10 week old?

Could do with a few opinions on this. My ds is 10 wks old and a very big boy..14lbs 10oz at last weigh in! His feeding routine is as follows;
8am, 12noon, 3.45pm, and 7pm.
We wake him at 11pm for another feed.
Then he's still waking between 4 and 5am for a feed...I think! This is my query - do you think he still needs a feed between 4 and 5am or is he 'at it'!
In addition to this he has terrible colic, and is a very unsettled baby. Health visitor and GP have been great but nothing is giving any relief. Not sure if feeding him is helping or contributing towards his excessive wind problems. Have had no experience with colicky babies before so don't know if I should continue with his feed at 4-5am, or try to passify til breakfast.
BTW he takes 6oz formula at each feed.
Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated as I'm getting to my wit's end.

I don't think he's 'at it'. My dd was having a feed and another one (or two sometimes) until much later than 10 weeks!

How many night feeds? I would say as many as he wants.
At 10 weeks he is not old enough to be 'at it'. He needs what he needs. It will pass.

does he finish his 6 ounce bottles? if so, add one more ounce

and no, at ten weeks, babies cannot try it on, they are hungry !

maybe drop the dream feed and he might wake once in the night for a full feed and then sleep until 6..worth a try?

Just realised that his last feed is 11pm. That's 5 or 6 hours until the next one. That's pretty good in my book. I would have been happy with that at 10weeks.

Thanks for all your opinions! Yes he finishes all his 6oz bottles..first stop the bottom!
We have just recently introduced the feed at 11pm, as before he was waking around 1am then again at 5ish. I was hoping the 11pm feed might push the early morning feed a bit later..or am asking too much?! The problem is that my first baby slept through at 10 weeks, and I'm doing the classic thing of comparing which I know I shouldn't!

ok, add one more ounce!

dream feeds seem to either work like a charm, or not at all!
