4 year old saying 'yummy hurts'

At my wits end with my 4 year old at the minute!

Every day it's 'my tummy hurts', this has now been going on for a week. No temp, eating and drinking fine. Poos normal. No sick.

He does seem quite withdrawn and 'whingey' for want of a better word, but every time I mention the Doctors he miraculously perks up.

Trying to think what the issue could be. He does have a baby sibling (born on Oct 2017) and a stepbrother. I've asked him if he's scared of anything etc and he says no.

Absolutely baffled what to do and it's really getting to me and upsetting me now as I don't understand what the issue is!

Any pattern? Could be an intolerance, attention seeking or gas?

No pattern at all, can't seem to link it to any foods. His diets the same as it's always been.

DP has taken him to the walk in GP because I just don't know what to do, maybe if it is an attention thing the GP will be able to see right through him and he might realise that it isn't the way to go.

I just feel like I'm trying my damn best and if it's an attention thing I'm obviously failing him somehow and I don't know what to do 😫
