Baby rolling eyes

Hi... worried mummy. Baby 7 months old today has started doing something weird... he looks up and it's like he zones out and his eyes roll a bit up the way but it's like his head pushes down when his eyes roll. Does that even make sense 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️

Probably constipation. But there is a very very small possibility it could be something more serious. Try and record on your phone tomorrow and take to GP ASAP. If it gets worse or happens in clusters, try and film it and take to A&E.
I’m sure it will turn it to be nothing but the small chance of what it might be needs quick attention.

He does suffer from constipation 🤔🤔. I've managed to record it.

Take it to your GP tomorrow, make a note of how often he does it and how many times (if there are clusters of them). In the meantime, lots of fruit and water!

@scoobyloobyloo will do thanks.

How is he doing bex?

Bex1517 · 08/06/2018 21:11

@scoobyloobyloo hey sorry just saw this. Well I phoned NHS 24 and was advised to take him to a and e. Showed them video but they didn't seem concerned he was checked over and all ok. Spoke to my dr and he said it's possibly just one of this things a baby does!

Hi @Bex1517

I was wondering if you could tell me what the outcome of this was? My son has started doing it and not sure if I should be worried or not.

How is your son now?

Bex1517 · 11/04/2020 18:06

@inkworks273 hey. Well I took him to the dr again after a and e and then went to my own dr who referred him to hospital... he was all checked over and I showed the dr the video he told me sometimes this can happen when they get excited 🤷🏼‍♀️. He's 2 now and hasn't done it again xx

@Bex1517 Thank you. I do get the feeling he's doing it on purpose. Like just something he's learned he can make his eyes do.

How long did he do it for?

Bex1517 · 11/04/2020 18:55

@inkworks273 it was for a good couple months. It freaked me out. But the consultant reassured me that it was nothing to worry about x

Thank you. Mine has been doing it on and off since the start of Feb. He seems to forget about it for a while and then start doing it again.

Is your little boy developing normally otherwise?

Bex1517 · 23/06/2020 06:05

@inkworks273 god sorry I've just seen your message. Yeah he is developing normally. Has your little one stopped doing it?

inkworks273 · 23/06/2020 19:24

@Bex1517 Yes he's stopped doing it for now. I think he was doing it on purpose to be honest. Just some weird thing he learned he could do. I'm hoping he's forgotten all about it.

Bex1517 · 23/06/2020 19:26

@inkworks273 aww good
