Please tell me he'll grow out of it.

My DT is a pain in the neck and is now an irritation even to us. He just constantly talks/shouts and makes stupid noises (mostly when he's being told off).

He never listens to you, if you ask a question you et completely ignored like he never even heard. He does hear though because if I ask did you hear what I said, he can repeat it. He just can't be bothered to reply.

How can wehelp him to fit in more, as I'm sure he's beginning to feel it too,but he such a pain at times.

At other times he is gorgeous, lovely, cuddly, affectionate, caring and a joy to be around.

How old is he??

He's 6, and will be 7 in August.

ahhh - well mine are only 3 and 1 so no real gems of advice i'm afraid. Although nearly all the 6 yr old boys i've met are very loud. I find the louder i get the louder they get - fortunatley the reverse is true to too, so I talk very quietly and sometimes this works.

And yes it will be a stage - what worries me though is that the next stage is usually worse than the current one [sigh].

Sorry, just read that back and i'm not being very helpfull am I? If its any consolation ds is a pain in the neck too at the moment. I'm sure someone will be along soon with some excellent beem there done that advice .

its worth a read. i think. v american but you can see poast that.lol
