Baby nails like razor blades help!

Wasn't sure where the best place to post this was but do any mums have any advice for baby nails? No matter how many times I seem to bite my 6 month olds nails they are still so sharp my face and arms are full of scratches 🙄. I didn't want to use a nail fail just in case I catch her skin and we had a bad experience with nail clippers when she was first born as I nipped her skin and it traumatised me. Any advice? Thanks

I always cut my LOs nails with clippers when he was asleep and thankfully never had any issues. You can buy softer baby nail files from boots, mother care etc.

I use nail clippers, i do them when my son is asleep! Can you not get baby scissors ?

I have always used baby scissors and found this to be the best method, however I have to cut my little ones nails every 10 days or so because they do grow quite quickly

I used to bite my kids nails when they were babies. Some recommend clippers and some may recommend biting them yourself. Whatever works best for you
