Can crawl but won't?

My 9mth old dd started to crawl about 2mths ago, and after a period of a few weeks where she really went for it, she doesn't seem to bother much.
If she wants something she will crawl to get it, but she is certainly not all over and everywhere, she seems happy just to sit or be held. Everyone I speak to talks about how active their babies are, and well mine isn't! Is this ok? Nursery said she is the same there too...

I dont really have much experience, but I dont think it's anything to worry about. You know she can crawl so that's good. Maybe it's because of the heat we've been having? I notice things that my dd does. She can give herself her bottle, but rather me give it to her, and she can climb up the stairs but would rather me carry her up them. Sorry if Im not much help xxx

I wouldn't worry JS, my friend's dd is 12mo and has only just started crawling. Like TB says, at least you know she can crawl. If I were you I'd enjoy the immobile bit whilst is lasts - she'll be in your kitchen cupboards in no time at all!
