My little girl says she want to do something, then she doesn’t (crying all the time) what should I do?

I ask he what she wants to do, so she says what she wants to do. I say ok let’s do it then she changes her mind. So I ask her again and she says something else. And so on I go round in circles she is just very controversial. Does anyone have an idea how I can get her out of this?

Don't ask, tell. And then jolly her along. Or give her a choice of two things A or B, she picks one, then you jolly her along and ignore the tears. Either way don't accept the endless changing her mind. Help her get past the tears so she can enjoy the activity. If possible don't say crossly "you decided A so we are doing A", instead say "we are doing A, A is great, good choice, let's get the A things out" etc etc. That will reassure her that A really was a good choice.

Standard 3 year old behaviour! I have the sane with my DS. “Let’s go to the park!” “yes Mummy!” “Ok, shoes on” “no, wahhhhhhhhhh I don’t want to go to the park!” Rinse & repeat. I just ignore and carry on and he eventually gets out of it & enjoys the activity. Exhausting though!

Yeah! I have the same situation way back when my kids were younger. I won't ask them what they wan't to do. Instead I will tell them what we will do.

There are whole Instagram feeds dedicated to reasons why my child is crying and it'll be for reasons like the parentbwouldnt allow the child to eat the contents of a nappy or because they said "good morning" to the child.

In my opinion, ask her once. Then ask again do she can change her mind then stick to the second answer. I just knew she'd be 2 or 3- this is a typical battle that everyone has with kids that age.
