Lieing Teenage Daughter

So i am a single parent of 3 children. at the moment my eldest daughter is Lieing about nearly everything. She gets detentions and lies about why. leaves rubbish all around the bedroom and wont pic it up and when i try to discuss the lies with her i get screamed at and told i never listen or believe her even when i have the prof that she is lieing. Any advice would be great because right now i dont even want to go home as i know it is going to be another argument. As she has been given another detention for not doing her work.

It can be hard can’t it. Does she share a bedroom or can you just shut the door and ignore the mess?

Untangled is a great book for understanding teenage girls]] and have you spoken to the school too?

There’s a really good Teenage Section on MN and there is Dadsnet too Smile
