Just interested when your LOs said their first words and whether you counted sounds/noises that sounded like words we know but were out of context or whether you waited for words that were clearly used with correct context? Or was you somewhere in between the two?
I just haven't a clue what to count as actual words or not! LO said Dad clear as day whilst looking at his dad, he has been trying to say "Dad" all weekend whilst playing or looking at/for his Dad. But at only 8.5 months not sure if this is a bit early? LO has been saying "Mummmm" or "Mmmmmum" for past month now but not always in correct context so again not sure!
