Daughter wets herself when she laughs

Hello, my daughter age 12 wets herself when she laughs. She does not wet herself if bouncing on a trampoline, running etc only when she laughs. When younger she sometimes wet the bed but not that often. It doesn't happen all the time but maybe 1-2 times a week. Today we were far from home and she wet herself and was so embarrassed, we forgot to bring spare clothes and were out with a group of people. It was the last straw for her so I will book a gp appointment. My mother in law has the same issue and alway when she laughs, we make a joke out of it - she does herself! Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and their child was helped to control this? Thank you

You can self refere to bladder and bowel clinics but they mainly just reach pelvic floor exercises which haven’t helped my dc with the same issue- please let me know how you get on

Google giggle incontinence

My dd does this too. She's 10 and has hypermobility which I think also affects her bladder control. She's never really wet the bed much but we have to be conscious of it if she sets off with a fit of the giggles!

Hi my daughter is 13 and leaks urine when laughs a lot. We have seen a consultant who has said its giggle incontinence and I really concerned about the medication she has been given....can anyone help or let me know if they've gone through similar. Thanks
