Tongue tie speech delay

My dd is nearly 3.5 she has literally just started trying to say a variety of words but has always struggled with pronunciation and we have noticed that in particular she struggles with the letter L. I’m wondering is there anyone who LOs have had speech delay and the tongue tie been discovered later? Was it treated and did it make a difference?

MY DS had tongue tie which was discovered late and we didn’t get it divided, which I regret. He did have lots of speech therapy? Has she been for SLT yet?

She’s had one session so far for an assessment. The therapist has referred her to ENT who we are seeing at the beginning of March
