Books for toddler to learn about moving from cot to bed

We're moving to Germany in two month's time and I don't think I can hold this off any longer. It's time to introduce/buy a bed for DS (2.3). Does anyone know of any books I can read to him on this subject so that he can get used to/ excited about being a big boy? (Also need to start potty training but there's too much on my plate at the moment with the move). Thanks everyone

No idea about books but we had a similar issue with our DH - were due to go on holiday in March and she needed to be in a bed by then!!

We simply got a small bed and involved her in 'Helping!!' Daddy put the bed together. We still had the cot in the room and half expected her to stay in that for a while but she immediately decided it was her bed - games of Mummy and Daddy lying on it sparks their inate jealous streak! - and she's been fine ever since. Having favourite toys in it etc all help - also we kept her in her GrowBag just to reduce the legs flying around / falling out issue and to date she's rolled out 3 times in 4 months.

I really would say just go for it and let your son decide for himself - new duvet cover and games etc etc seemed to help DH too as have the usual 'big girls bed' etc etc refences.

Good luck

also no idea about books
but helping put it together, postioning it, maybe choosing a pillow, bedding and duvet like beansmummy suggested is a great idea
