Any advice? DS is 4 and has discovered the orifice....in particular at night time before going to sleep.
I think I did well this morning to not humiliate him when I worked out what was on his fingers and sheets but I think I probably want to deter him- because of hygiene if nothing else. He's a reluctant hand washer as it is- the thought of his bed, toys, door handles and whatever else being contamination bated is concerning for me. We have a thumb sucker in the family too which worries me even more!!
I don't want to shame him but I'd really appreciate any tips to work around this 'phase'.
