Eating apples at bedtime. Bad routine?

So I have a six years old boy. And we have got into a routine that i’m wondering if it’s bad for him. We do bedtime then each night he says he is hungry and can he have something. So we gave in to apples. And he will eat them then go to sleep. Prior to this the whole routine of toilet and brushing teeth has happened. Could this be bad for this teeth?

Yes, it’s bad for teeth. Apples are full of sugars and acidic . Give a slice of toast half an hour before bed if he really must have something.
