Baby's hand movements

Can anyone tell me what normally developing babies hand and motor skills look like? As in do they feel things worth there hands and scratch surfaces and materials to feel them, do they bang toys and shake them to see what sound they make, and play with their hands?
I keep reading about early signs of autism and finger bending and hand flapping but I'm confused as I've been told babies who are developing and learning do these things too?

From what I understand hand flapping is literally flapping 5hechands very quickly for a while. It would be pretty unusual for a young baby to be doing it if I’m honest.

Thanks for replying, my little
One doesn't hand flap he's 8 Months he shakes toys, and touches surfaces and feels them which I'm guessing is normal development for a baby?

Yes it all sounds pretty normal. I would normally advocate comparing children, but are you mixing with any Mums who have babies of a similar age?
