Hi all
Just wanted any advice or experiences really as it’s stressing me out, as much as I try and not let it.
My little one started off eating really well (introduced veg first- purée) would eat and try anything.
He is a year old - only just, but feeding is becoming a bit of a battle. Particularly savoury. He just does not want to eat anything savoury (particularly anything I’ve cooked) off a spoon!! Sometimes I’ll get him to eat a 7 month pouch but even that’s becoming harder. However pudding/yoghurts of any texture and flavour he will wolf it down from a spoon!
He eats finger food by himself fine (toast, cucumber, peas) Altho does seem to change weekly in what he does and doesn’t like, and tends to not try many new things. However if I put infront of him something I cooked for example, tuna pasta mashed, he won’t try and eat it with his hands, and will refuse the blinking spoon.
Has anyone been through this, will he just eventually start using hands if I put it in front of him each time? Because I give up with the spoon. Any advice is welcome, he’s only little so I just worry about his weight. It has been dipping recently but he has started walking 4 weeks ago so that obviously means he’s on the go.
Thank you
