Biting

My DD is 9 months old and has 6 teeth already, and I think her molars are starting to try push through. In the last few weeks she has started biting quite a bit. I breastfeed and she's bitten me a couple of times and I said 'ouchies' loud and put her down. She hasn't done it since, but her bottom teeth do often graze me when she latches, but not overly worried with that. She often bites clothing and has occasionally nipped my skin by accident

The main concern is with her father, she's biting him daily, sometimes to the point of drawing blood. If he sits her on his shoulders, She will grab his ear and twist his head so she can bite his ear. She will crawl up to him and just grab him and bite. Seems to be a combination of a bit of a game and teething. He tried the same method as me but she just laughs and plays with her toys.

How else can we get her to stop?

Have a read of 14 ways to stop hitting and biting? Hopefully it will help Smile
