Hi, I just posted this in Parenting before I realised it was better off here.
My dd is only just 8 years old & seems to have trouble pronouncing her R`s. She tends to pronounce them with a W sound (like Jonathan Woss) Shes not always done this, its only been for the last year or so. Weve tended to ignore it in the hope it would correct itself, but it seems to be getting worse now. Is it advisable to get her refered for speech therapy? If so how would I go about doing this?
