Hi wonder if anyone could help! My son is 7 and for a few years I have been thinking that he has anxiety + OCD? I haven't a clue where to turn to or what to do or who to speak to! He has his ways with surrten things - so many different things, and i think it effects his behaviour and the way he thinks? There has been soooo many things in the past but il just explain where we are at now! At the moment it's about road signs - speed limit- intercators - checks my speed limit etc - won't touch s drink if anyone has drank out of it "germs" will not break any kind of rules!! And I mean any!! AT ALL!! - chews his nails and jumper askes a million questions a day about anything and everything ( so we got him a Alexa dot for Christmas) wets the bed before any school activity - Christmas play , sports day etc ,he got up 6:30am to go over his lines for the Christmas concert lines - he's going swimming tomorrow with school ( first time) and has wet the bed last night ( he woke me up after stripping the whole bed and told me he's done it all and that he was sorry ) - he refuses to cross the road in school now unless I am on the same side as him because he says "nobody uses the intercator) doesn't like walking over zebra crossing as he thinks nobody will stop - his bedroom is always the same and If there is a mess made by other kids he will refuse to go in - he doesn't do well with any sort of dissapline - even if I don't give him a row and I tell him in a calm voice he can't handle it! And thinks I'm giving him a row? He will not stick up for him self iv seen him lying there while another child on top of him and he just cries!
There's so many things I could write but I could be here a long time!!
What should I do? Is there something? Am I over reacting!? Is this just the person he is?
