Please help me, this evening i have completely lost it with my two boys. I find them incredibly, incredibly challenging. We are actually away at the moment and I am in my own with them. They get themselves into this abaoljt my crazy behaviour of shrieking, running around, messing, screaming... usually in public... ignoring me completely, it is utterly horrendous and there is simply nothing I can do to stop them or contain the situation. I am at my absolute wits end. I am starting to get horrendous rage and I am worried I am going to hurt them. I can’t cope with this behaviour.

Take a time out for you let them know your taking a time out as “mummy needs time to stay calm” and use time out with them and let them know time out isn’t a punishment it’s calming time to think about how they can calm down. I use it while out and about aswell for me and them. If each of you go in seperate areas when you do it it lets them think with out distraction but the slightest thing they do that’s good over the top praise then for this way they can have you attention and it will make them want it more for good behaviour than bad. It’s not going to be a quick fix and work straight up but trial it for maybe a month -6 weeks and hopefully you will see an improvement hope this might help x
