How often does your child say "I love you"?

I have a five year old ds who tells me constantly that he loves me, that I'm beautiful, the best mummy in the world etc, like several times in an hour all day. Part of me thinks that's lovely but another part of me is beginning to wonder if it's a bit of an anxiety thing, ie needing the reassurance as I always reply that I love him too.
He's a confident boy but cares deeply about what people think of him and can be a bit of a people pleaser as a result.
So, what are your experiences? Do your dc do this? Is it just an age thing do you think? Thanks!

My ds 4, tells us like every minute 😂 it is very adorable, and I think it reflects the times we've told him. I don't mind, he tells the cats too, I love you Tonka, so much, if ever a big mouse tries to eat your dinner you tell me, I'll look after you. He's Def loving his family right now lol x

This is my ds to a T thank you, I feel better that maybe it's just an age thing. Not complaining, it is very sweet.
Your ds sounds lovely and caring!!

It is very cute, and a good reflection of what they hear at home, it could be worse lol x
