Baby's big toes always bent?

Hi,

My DS's big toes are always bent back and he doesn't particularly like them being put straight (only tried this a few times as just wondered what they were doing!). I've included a picture of them. Is this normal and they'll eventually straighten out? Rest of family are super freaked out by them 🙈

I should point out he is 6 months, rolling over happily now and just starting to be on the move with crawling.

See the GP for reassurance.

Hi,

I was just wondering if you found out anything about this. My LO is 8 weeks old and is exactly the same and was a bit concerned about it. Thanks Smile

Hi, just wondering did your babies toes affect them walking? Did they need any treatment for toes? My baby’s toes are exactly the same it’s worrying me, baby has just turned 1 & waiting list to be seen about toes on nhs is 7 months.

Thanks
Michelle

Hi Owlylady,
My son now 5 months has the same issue with its toes. Would be so ever grateful if you could update us on how it evolved for your child and what you would recommend after your experience ?
Many thanks!

I'm just reviving this old thread because there are a few people asking for updates.

My son had this when he was a few months old. We never took him to a doctor or anything and it seemed to go away on its own. He's a toddler now and walks just fine.
