My baby started smiling at 4 and a half weeks and we’ve had a lovely couple of weeks with lots of smiles and increasing interaction, but over the past couple of days he’s been much less smiley. He still wants to play and look at things and faces, but only a couple of smiles in the morning. Is he just becoming more discerning? He also had a tongue tie division a couple of days ago and I wonder if it could be linked?
I realise I should probably stop worrying (and should definitely stop googling...) but just wondered if anyone had any similar experiences or reassurance?
