When did you put your LO into nursery?

My LO is going to be 9 months in 2 weeks.
I’m coming to the end of my maternity and am looking to go back into work however my family are all hard workers themselves and with my job being any times of a day/evening and my partners being the same I’m contenplating nursery. Is he too little? I’m so anxious I’m not sure what to do.
There’s only so much babysitting my family can do themselves as they work and although they love to help they do have lives too I don’t want to burden them.

Lots of babies go to nursery much younger, I’m sure he’ll be fine. If you work unsociable hours though, I’d check when the nurseries near to you are open and if they have a place.

My ds went to nursery full time at 7mo my dd went full time at 9mo. None of our familiy are in a position to offer any childcare. I also enjoy my job and it wouldnt really fit with being part time.

My kids seem fine and were never bothered about being left, they enjoy the activities and social side of nursery.

9 months is not too early. Mine went back at 10/11 months but I know plenty of children who went into.nursry at 4 or 5 months. If your mat leave is over, what are you going do otherwise?

If you want to go back soon, I would start looking for. nursery Asap. Lots of nurseries have waiting lists of 6-12 months
