Hi,does anyone know if you can use Infacol and Gripe Water at the same time? Have been giving Infacol before every feed but can I give gripe water when she is screaming with wind in between feeds?? DD is 7 weeks old, any other wind relieving tips much appreciated! TIA

I used Infacol and just loads of warm water. I also put her on solids earlier (12 weeks)

I used infant gaviscon for just the first feed in the morning and it transformed my lo.

Lucylu - we have the same here DD is 8 weeks and has suffered from wind since her second week!!

Infacol helps her to keep the dummy in for a few minutes. I find a hot water bottle (well, warm water really and just a little bit of water) helps.

Is DD struggling to burp? Or the other end?

Liesel - yes I weaned my first at 14 weeks (it was the advice at the time). Don't think that early weaning is necessarily the answer; babies are just badly designed and their guts are no exception
