Anyone else having problems with the lighter nights and sleeping?

DD 12 weeks is now very hard to settle for the night since the light nights have set in - previously she was fantastic - bath, bottle then put her in moses basket and light off and she would drift off to sleep happily.

Since clocks changed and lighter nights have set in she is terrible - I have just spent 50 mins settling her to sleep and had to rock her til she was just about asleep - must have tried about 20 times to put her down before it finally worked and I think that was only because she had tired herself out by screaming for 50 mins.

Any ideas/anyone in same boat?

I have blackout lining on the curtains but light comes round the sides. I have a blackout blind on order and will phone them tomorrow to tell them I need it NOW!

Might just be a natural change in routine, Ds had several changes in routine until he was one and then he settled down a bit.

I was expecting a big change with the light nights but have been incredibly lucky, tonight he went to bed earlier than usual at 7pm it was still sunny out, and it was his choice to go.

Just as you think you have got things sussed they usually change their pattern, annoying isn't it. Bear with it, it may change again in the next week. When you get your blind it may help
