Mucus in poo

Hi just wondering if anyone else has come across mucus in babies poo my DD is 3 weeks old an found some today in nappy, poo normal colour and baby centre website giving symptoms but some are silly..is baby tired/lethargic well she a newborn so she always tired and sleepy!!! They are stating could be infection Any advice welcome

Mucus in poo can be a sign of an allergy. If you think it may be an infection, is she bright and alert at times? Does she have a temperature? Is she waking for feeds?

I agree it can be allergy. Infection comes only if Lo has fever. In that case in Lo needs to be checked for medication i suppose.
