So my ds just turned 4. He's a happy healthy little guy, 90-95% of time, mix with the usual Tantrums and tiaras.
Here's the question, recently, I think since end of October I've noticed a difference, he seems more sensitive. Kicks up a storm if he can't do something, misbehaving a little more in like pushing boundaries, not listening. Which I think is all normal??
But, he's s also a lot more clingy, wants me to go with him almost everywhere, gone from loving to hating nursery. So today, he burst into tears a few times in nursery, he wanted mummy, I thought just because he's a bit ill we've all got a cold. But do thinks I spend too much time with him and I need to leave him alone more?? I am a sahm, so I can't really help always being here.

I think he's talking crap, opinions please?? X

Agree, you can't spend too much time with him or love him too much. You're giving him security now so that he will have the confidence to grow and develop.
Also, children can get clingy right before a big growth/developmental spurt (a la Wonder Weeks). I think because they've developed a new level of awareness, and it can be frightening for them. So I think the extra reassurance is fine!
