DD's school friend is sleep over for the first time here tonight. Friend's mum is working in the morning - I am on holiday for rest of week - and they have a party at lunch time tomorrow, so made mrore practical sense to have them both here.

They are now washed and in nighties, in DD's room. Friend is sleeping on blow up bed in DD's room. They are supposed to be having 1o minutes quiet time, reading to each other. Can hear lots of chatting and giggling so far!

They did spend first week of the holidays together in same room as we went on holiday with them. So hopefully the big novelty has already worn off.

Hoping that after story time they might start to settle down, but somehow I doubt it for a while yet!

Wish me luck!

Good Luck Hulababy!

My dd had her first sleepover here a few weeks ago - by accident really as her friends mum was moving house and just didnt get sorted in time so i offered anyway got thrown out of my bed as dh away and they both slept in there together - they are only 5 so i envisaged hours of awake time but they feel asleep by 8.30 so success! hope it goes well for you...... its very cute though i think
