An emergency wee!

Last week I took DD and a friend to the park. Its the first time I have been responsible for someone elses child outside my own home and it scared the living daylights out of me!! DD will stop when I tell her but LB is either not hearing me or ignoring me.

Anyway I digress.

We were in the middle of a busy park about 15 minutes walk from home (child speed) loads of children, loads of parents. Including a friend of mine, when LD declared he needed and emergency wee and dashed off behind a tree . Was stunned. Only having a girl of 'no-nappy' age I was both impressed that he did this and yet embarassed about it in front of everyone at the park. My friend and another both laughed at his toilet dash, and the fact for a 4yr old he told the time from his wrist watch (dial not digital) and when asked his name gave the whole thing - very advanced!

Whe we got back I told his mum and she said 'yes we have lots of emergency wees'

Not looking for opinions as I have no opinion on it realy, just really shocked at my shock, when I guess I should be preparing for this when my DS gets to that age!
