Newborn eye colour

My DS is 3 days old and has very dark blue eyes, just wondering what people’s experience of this was and if their children’s changed and was it to brown or did they ever lighten?

Hi, all of my dc had dark blue eyes when they were first born. Dd1 now has grey blue eyes but they were bright blue as a baby/toddler. Dd2 has green eyes but again were bright blue as a baby/toddler. Dd3 is almost 5 weeks old, hers are still pretty dark but are lightening and she has flecks of silver/grey in hers coming through.
Funny how eye colour changes so much as children get older

My DS was born with very dark blue almost grey eyes. Now at 4 months they are a very bright blue with shades of green.

My little sister was born with bright blue eyes and they didn't change till she was 1.5 years and they went hazel.

As PP said eye colours change so much!
