5mo multiple pooper

My 5mo has gone from regular 1 big poop a day in the morning, to 6-7 small poops a day and through the night.

He is generally happy and no sign of any stomach distress.

It’s been going on for the last 2 weeks. There doesn’t seem to be any reason for it that I can see. I read somewhere it could be related to teething but can’t see how.

Any ideas? It’s like having a newborn again.

Has anything changed, like have you started introducing solids?

Teething? Not sure if this is just anecdotal or any fact is behind it but since my DS has started teething he has had smaller, runnier and more frequent poops. He seems fine in himself too. My friend told me it's down to the amount dribble they produce and swallow 🤷
