Head butting

My son is one and has developed a habit of head butting things in recent weeks. He doesn’t do it out of temper - he thinks it’s hilarious - but he’s going to end up really hurting himself if he carries on. He wouldn’t stop head butting my DH’s elbow on the armrest of the sofa, then he walked over and head butted the table and then my knee!

He laughs when he does it and we move him away from the things he does it to and tell him no but he just laughs and runs back!

Is this normal or a growing thing or what?? He’s not doing it to show anger or aggression - it’s like he goes “ow that hurts shall I do it again?” And Blbang he goes!

Posted too soon...

He has a bump on his head most days as he’s a clumsy bugger but this is really annoying as well as worrying! He sees it as a game and even when you ignore it he just keeps going!
