So iv been back to work for 2 weeks now (3 12 hour shifts a week) and since starting my 9 month old son (always been a mummys boy) has gotten really clingy. When we go anywhere he refuses to go to anyone until he is sure i am not going to leave him there. Even places/people he knows well i can not leave his sight without his heart breaking. And im not even the one dropping him off at nursery!

He is getting more settled at nursery and is interacting well with the other kids and iv seen photos of him playing and having fun.

I can understand the behavior but anyone else have similar experiences and how long they take to trust you again Grin

This age is a typical time to develop clinginess so may be unrelated to nursery it marks a new stage of development. Make sure everyone always says goodbye and try to stay upbeat as they take their cues from you.
