Feeding a newborn

My newborn is around 40 hours old and we have her at home. Me and my dh are worried that she does not appear to be eating much, around 1oz every 2-3 hours. Any advice, tips etc please Smile

Newborns do eat tiny amounts to start with, sounds ok to me as long as she's having wet nappies but she's so young I'd call the maternity ward if you're at all worried...you will still be under their care even after discharge until your baby is a month old. You should have phone numbers etc with your discharge notes x
