How many naps?

Hi all, my DD is 9 months and 3 weeks (born 5 weeks early). She is having 3 naps a day, very occasionally 4. I've been told that she should now be on two naps a day. She wakes at a 7-7.30am, first nap at about 9 for about 30-45 mins, second at 12-1pm for another 45-60 mins then a little catnap in the afternoon, maybe around 4 or half 4. She falls asleep at around 7pm. She wakes once at about 10pm ish for a cuddle and once at about 5am but goes back to sleep to 7-7.30am. I think she's happy with 3 naps and normally nods off quite happily on her own. Has anybody else had babies this age still on 3 naps? Wondering if I should try moving first nap to 10am

Sounds like it’s working for you! You could try the 2-3-4 routine which really worked for me at that stage- First nap 2 hours after waking, 2nd nap 3 hours after that waking then bedtime 4 hours after waking from the 2nd nap, you might get a longer 2nd nap that way.

Thanks, I'll definitely try the 2-3-4, sounds good!
